Auslan (australian sign language) classes online

Classes from Beginner to Advanced

Level 2 introduces new vocabulary, new aspects of culture, and new grammatical features, including the introduction of storytelling.

Level 3 introduces over 600 new signs, while consolidating and extending upon aspects of grammar and culture taught in previous levels.

The focus of Level 4 is improving conversational fluency, increasing confidence and competency in Auslan, and in expressing your thoughts and experiences.

Level 5 and subsequent levels are completely voice-off classes, providing immersive experiences with regular interactions with different members of the Deaf community.

An opportunity to practice conversational skills, consolidate learning, extend skills, and garner feedback. Open to students of all levels as well as the greater community.

Upon enrolment, you will be invited to join the private Facebook group where you can arrange with other students for online or in person practise sessions.

Private Tuition

I am available for private tuition/classes (online or in person - Brisbane), and there is also possibility for private tuition/practice with other members of the Deaf community (either online or in person). Please contact me for more information and pricing.

Interpreted Events and Church

For those located in Brisbane, you are always welcome to join us at 9am on a Sunday morning at Centrepoint Church, Chermside (240 Hamilton Rd, Chermside 4032). There are roughly 20 people in the Deaf ministry and we sit down the front on the right-hand side of the auditorium. It's a great opportunity to meet Deaf people, practise your signing, and watch the interpreting of both the songs and message. We also meet fortnightly on a Thursday for social activities - contact me for more information.
